Napowrimo – Poetry Challenge – Day 19 – Sunday Bloody Senryu

    Hey Folks,

Can believe the news today?  You’re right around the corner from the big ten count down! I think it’s time to sing out and rejoice.

So How long must you sing? How’s about 17 syllables? Today you’re going to play with the Senryu. It’s like a Haiku but where a Haiku focusses on nature, a Senryu looks at human nature.

Your Nineteenth Naporwrimo Poetry Challenge is:

    Sunday Bloody Senryu

    • Use Present tense
    • Use aspects of human nature or emotions
    • 3 sentences of 5/7/5 Syllables

Need some lyrical inspiration check out U2 Lyrics.

    Have fun!

    • Leave a link to your Day 19 napowrimo poem below – (it doesn’t have to be inspired by the challenge).
